"Clarifying ambiguities over the actual “generation” or version number of the updated iPods released this Tuesday, a senior executive with Apple Computer confirmed to iPodlounge this evening that the new color-screened devices are still considered by the company to be “4th generation” (4G) iPods." Was niemand außer iPodlounge.com selbst verwundern dürfte, nur dort hatte man sich aus verworrenen Gründen auf eine fünfte Generation eingeschossen.

HP verkauft jetzt auch den iPod shuffle und bietet damit erstmals die komplette iPod-Reihe (ums eigene Logo ergänzt) an. "We could have invented our own player, but the Apple iPod from HP has it all. The iPod is obviously wildly popular with consumers", kommentierte ein HP Sprecher.
